If you are in Hawaii as a visitor for any length of time then any of the Costco's here are a lifeline for getting food, supplies, and gas. If you are a member this is one of the most economical ways to shop on island. The Food court also stands out as a great cheap way to grab a meal without spending a ton. This is probably our favorite of the Costco's on oahu, but they are all good places to stop. While all are busy, this may have slightly more parking available then the others and has an indoor food court which give you a little more respite from the sun/heat and has less birds looking for a snack. Another thing I found interesting here is the employee service wall. It has many employees who have been with Costco for over 25 years! Pretty amazing.

Drove out here from Hawai'i Kai to get six acacia countertops for our kitchen renovation. Inside, an employee named Pono helped me get the counters on the cart. Outside two Cart Rodeo gals loaded them into my Subaru Forrester. They praised me for having the back cleared and ready for loading. I can't remember their names but they were awesome. Great customer service.

Costco is awesome as we all know, but practice some yoga before going because the crowds are insane and parking there is very hard to find. Sometimes takes 20 minutes to find a spot. Same if you want a Hotdog lol. Always well stocked and employees are super friendly.

I normally enjoy shopping at this Costco but today I had a really bad experience. When I tried to pay at self-checkout, the machine kept asking for a cashier. I asked for help, and the person nearby just said, 'You are the cashier, you be the cashier.' I didn’t understand, because when she came over and pressed a button, the machine still asked for something else. I thought that’s what they were there for—to help. If they’re not going to help and just be rude, then they really shouldn’t have that job. I’ve never had this kind of issue here, so I think I’ll go somewhere else from now on.

I was an executive member for over ten years. The membership department is so unprofessional, wouldn't let my wife renew our membership because we have not used it over a year and it was paid for. This older hawaiian lady was so unprofessional and needs to be fired. That is not how you treat customers. You don't belong working with customers with an attitude like that. Sadly I will not be stepping foot in to that establishment ever again and will gladly take my business elsewhere. We talked to a manager but I highly doubt anything was done. Worker's with bad attitudes have manager's with bad attitudes. Everything stems from the top. COSTCO is literally down the road from where i live , but I have no problem driving to Sam's club as they are professional.....
